Our MR industry has largely been building solutions for the online and mobile centric world. However that form factor is about to change to a piece of glasses that will be used by consumers to browse the internet, watch movies, consume music, navigate or even take online surveys. Most of these connected glasses will be voice enabled with AI with eye tracking so one could respond to surveys or participate in discussions using voice enabled commands. Digital diaries will be replaced with these always on AR glasses that capture each moment when a respondent engages with a brand. Holographic communication will change the way we meet and work. Imagine a virtual focus group of the future in 2030 with respondents from across the globe where we see each other as Holograms rather than our physical selves. So rather than using digital avatars we will have a full 3D model of the person and even watch his physical expressions.
This gives us contextual data in a way that we have never seen before.
