Florian Teischinger, Japan Tobacco International

Florian Teischinger, a national of Austria, works as a Data Scientist for Japan Tobacco International in Geneva, Switzerland. Within the Legal and Regulatory Affairs department he is responsible for the development of statistical models that quantify tobacco use behaviors and estimate impacts on population health.

Prior to this, he held a research position at CERN – European Organization of Nuclear Research, Geneva, Switzerland, specializing in data analysis and mathematical modeling of Big Data. Teischinger holds a PhD in Particle Physics, completed at CERN (2014).
